About Us

The studio began from a simple purpose: to craft lighting objects that perform consistently and are made from materials with clear provenance. We partner directly with small-scale apiaries and collect beeswax that reflects regional flora and seasonal character. Wax is hand-filtered and batch-tested for melting point and colour before being combined with responsibly sized cotton wicks. Our makers run burn tests on every format to ensure correct wick sizing and consistent combustion across lots. We minimise processing to preserve natural wax qualities and avoid additives that compromise clean burn.

Sustainability is integrated into operations: packaging is recyclable, jars are suitable for reuse, and we offer a return-and-refill program for many formats. We run occasional workshops teaching rolling techniques and safe wick trimming, and host small group tastings that pair candle light with seasonal home rituals.
